Our Story

JMD Communities was founded on the belief that people, homes, and neighborhoods deserve the opportunity to be restored.

Founded by a disabled veteran, JMD Communities began with the 24 Martin Street Revitalization Project in Bessemer, Alabama. What started with restoring a distressed two-home property has grown into a larger mission focused on revitalizing communities, creating safe housing, and building meaningful partnerships.

We believe restoration is about more than repairing houses. It is about preserving neighborhoods, supporting families, and creating communities people are proud to call home.
